Bari Airport Arrivals (BRI) - Live Data (2024)

It is always a good idea to key up to date with flight arrivals, especially if you are collecting a passenger. To help with this we have provided the table above, which shows live data for all the planes arriving at Bari airport today. The table shows the status of the flight, and if there are any delays it will be highlighted and the arrival time will be adjusted to include the delay.

If you will be collecting a passenger from the airport then it is a good idea to keep track of the latest arrival times so you do not set off too early and have to wait for a long period for your passenger to arrive. As you arrive at the airport, you will find two areas where you can park your car free for 15 minutes, as well as several small car parks close to the arrivals hall where you can park and pay by the hour. You can find out more about parking and the rates here.

Passenger Arrival Procedures

For passenger arriving at the airport, it is important that you follow all the safety procedures for yours and other passengers' safety. After your flight has touched down, the aircraft will first be taxied to a parking bay, and it is important that you remain in your seats with your seat belt fastened until the plane has come to a complete stop and the 'Fasten Seat Belts' signs have been switched off.

After coming to a stop, you can collect your hand luggage from the overhead locker and prepare to disembark the aircraft, but take care when opening the lockers as luggage will have likely move around during landing and could potentially fall as the locker is opened.

When it is safe to disembark the aircraft the cabin crew will inform you, so make your way to the exit of the aircraft and into the terminal building. Ensure you do not leave anything behind, as you will not be allowed to re-enter the aircraft once you have left.

Passport Control & Immigration

Passengers who are arriving at Bari airport from a non-Schengen country will have to present their passport and maybe other travel documents at Passport Control. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your stay and issued within the past 10 years. Passengers who are arriving from a Schengen country will not have to present their passport, but it is recommended that you carry either your passport or national ID card to prove your identity if required.

Passengers from an EU country are permitted to stay for an unlimited period and do not require a visa, where passengers from the USA, Canada and Australia can stay for up to 90 days in a 6 month period without a visa. Nationals from other countries may require a visa for entry and it is advised to contact your embassy or consulate for further information.

Baggage Reclaim

After you have cleared passport control and immigration you can make your way to the baggage reclaim area to collect your hold luggage. If you have no hold luggage you can simply make your way to customs, but you will still have to walk through the baggage reclaim area.

In the baggage reclaim area you will find 5 carousels and baggage from your flight will be located on one of these. To find which carousel your luggage will be on check the overhead monitors for your flight number and proceed to the carousel number to wait for your luggage. The ground staff at the airport are usually very efficient at getting luggage from the airport to the carousel, so you should not have to wait long for your luggage to appear. You will find trolleys available for your use if needed and there are some toilets and baby changing facilities within this area if required.

In the event that your baggage is lost or damaged then you must make your way the lost and found desk in the baggage reclaim area and file a 'lost or damaged baggage report'. You will require your baggage tag number, which is normally stuck to your boarding pass, and your passport/national ID. If you do not fill out the report, or leave this area before you make a claim, you will not be entitled to any compensation for damaged baggage or luggage that has been lost. You can contact the airport on +39 080 5800200 to get an update on any report you have filed.

After you have collected your luggage you can make your way through customs and into the arrivals lounge, but ensure you have not left anything behind as you cannot re-enter the baggage reclaim area once you have left.
