Liechtenstein, which has a population of about 38,000, is the least populated nation in Western Europe.

With a population of 3.56 million, Berlin ranks as the second most populated city in Western Europe. Vienna, Hamburg, Lyon, Marseille, Munich, Zurich, Zurich, Amsterdam, Cologne, Lille, and Toulouse are additional significant cities in the sub region, and each has a population of one million or more.
